In 1978 Ibanez introduced the Paul Stanley Iceman Signature model PS-10 which was produced until 1981. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary in 1993, Ibanez decided to release a Limited Reissue of approx. 511 units. 200 of them got a “20th Anniversary” inlay at the 21st fret and were released in the USA exclusively, the remaining guitars got a “Limited Reissue” inlay and were released worldwide.
This rare Reissue was made very close to the original specs but with a few changes that include the usage of contemporary parts like the Gibraltar II bridge and Quik Change II tailpiece.
The PS-10 R delivers the powerful sound of the legendary original by using a V-2 humbucker in the Bridge position. The V-1 pickup in the Neck position has less output so the guitar is pretty versatile.
The guitar is in near mint and all original condition and was hardly played! There are no belt buckle marks, breaks or repairs! The neck is straight, the frets show only minimal wear. The chrome plating looks like new. All electronics are working without any problems.
It’s the ultimate Kiss collectible. The Paul Stanley guitar features a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, 2 humbucker pickups and a tune-o-matic bridge. With an eye-catching body shape and killer gloss finish, this baby’s gonna rock and roll all night.
The Paul Stanley Designed PS80 comes in a full color Collectible Carton loaded with memorabilia including an Exclusive Paul Stanley Photograph, Custom Paul Stanley Gig Bag, Signature Guitar Strap and 3 Paul Stanley Signature Guitar Picks.

I am making my own custom Ibanez Iceman Hybrid just like Paul & Bruce’s!
I started a few weeks ago but I did not feel that I had done enough with the guitar to post any Pics, but today I spent some time routing out the pocket and making the neck heel, sorry I should explain…
I bought an 80s Ibanez Destroyer off eBay for around $200, it had a custom paint job, and had custom Floyd Rose fitting, but it was shit, the studs were like 2 mm out.
So I decided to turn the existing Destroyer into one of my favourite guitar, Racer X’s custom Ibanez Iceman! Not the best ways of going about making a guitar but that’s the way I decided to make it.
Enough, I have ‘’Gone Too Far ‘’with this explanation, time for some Pics!!

Description of the Ibanez ICT700 Iceman
With the advent of the X series, Ibanez reintroduced non-traditional guitar shapes back into the mix. These off the wall shapes stand out in a crowd, but they are also excellent examples of form meeting function. The ICT700 is great for hard rock, where thick tones are literally beaten out of the guitar.
Neck-thru construction on the ICT700 provides massive sustain and playing comfort.
Gibraltar Custom Bridge & DiMarzio® D Activator™ Pickups
The ICT700 comes standard with a massive milled brass version of the Gibraltar bridge and DiMarzio® D Activator™ Pickups.

The Iceman is an Ibanez guitar produced by Hoshino Gakki. Hoshino Gakki exported copies of American electric and acoustic guitars in the 1950s, and by the mid 1970s the Ibanez guitars had reached a level of quality comparable to American guitars. Lower labor rates at the time, plus efficient manufacturing meant that Ibanez guitars could be sold for almost half (or less) of the cost of a Gibson Les Paul or Fender Stratocaster.
In the mid 1970s Hoshino Gakki wanted to make a distinctly Japanese guitar and to start breaking away from the Ibanez replicas of Fender and Gibson models. The idea was to build a guitar with an appealing original design, like a Les Paul or Stratocaster. A meeting between Hoshino (Ibanez), Kanda Shokai (Greco) and one of the main guitar factories in Japan (FujiGen) resulted in the Iceman/Mirage design. Each distribution company had distribution rights to it in different global markets. Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez) had the rights outside of Japan and Kanda Shokai (Greco) had the rights for Japan.
